New York, NY – August 20, 2015 – The Senvol Database, which is the first and most comprehensive 3D printing database of industrial additive manufacturing machines and materials, has added over 100 new machines and materials this summer. With the latest additions, the Senvol Database has now surpassed 1,000 machine and material entries overall.
Senvol Co-President Zach Simkin commented, “We’re pleased to continue to see the industry grow – and not simply with new machines and materials, but with machines and materials that offer improved functionality.”
Given the continuously evolving and complex landscape of additive manufacturing machines and materials, it comes as no surprise that many of the Senvol Database’s global users come from companies such as GE, Caterpillar, Northrop Grumman, Ricoh, General Motors, and Johnson & Johnson, to name a few.
The Senvol Database is online and free to access. Users are able to search the Senvol Database by 30+ fields, such as machine build size, price, material type, or material tensile strength.
“Whether you’re new to additive manufacturing looking to understand the landscape, or a design engineer searching for a machine and material to meet a specific application, the Senvol Database provides the information that you need, all at your fingertips,” added Senvol Co-President Annie Wang.
As always, user feedback is welcomed and encouraged. Please email database@senvol.com with any questions, comments, or suggestions. User feedback helps make the Senvol Database even better!
