Cleveland, OH – June 5, 2018 – Senvol Presidents Annie Wang and Zach Simkin gave a presentation earlier today at CAASE18: The Conference on Advancing Analysis & Simulation in Engineering.

The presentation was titled “Applying Machine Learning to Additive Manufacturing to Analyze the Relationships between Manufacturing Process and Material Performance.” The focal point of the presentation was Senvol ML, which is Senvol’s machine learning software for additive manufacturing. During the presentation, Wang and Simkin highlighted the U.S. Navy’s use of the software and the resulting analysis.

CAASE18 is taking place from June 5-7, 2018 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio.

CAASE18 brings together the leading visionaries, developers, and practitioners of CAE-related technologies. The 3-day program covers a wide range of topics. One of the four key themes of this year’s conference is “Advancing Manufacturing Processes & Additive Manufacturing.”

CAASE18 is put on by NAFEMS (the International Association for the Engineering Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Community) in conjunction with Digital Engineering. NAFEMS focuses on the practical application of numerical engineering simulation techniques such the Finite Element Method for Structural Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Multibody Simulation.
