Posted By Senvol on Oct 5, 2015

Philadelphia, PA – October 5, 2015 – Senvol President Zach Simkin was selected to deliver the closing keynote of the MD&M Conference, which will take place at the Philadelphia Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA on October 7th & 8th.

The keynote will focus on exploring the business implications of adopting additive manufacturing (AM). Experiences, case studies and examples will be drawn from Senvol’s previous work to illustrate how some companies have made decisions as to whether or not they should adopt AM. Senvol’s “7 Supply Chain Scenarios” framework will also be explored to demonstrate how a company can narrow down which parts or SKUs may be cost-effective candidates for production via AM. Finally, the keynote will explain AM’s current cost structure and explore what would happen to the business choice to adopt AM should various elements of that cost structure change in the future.

The keynote is titled “Determining the Tipping Point for the Effective Use of 3DP and AM” and will take place at 3:50pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.
