Fort Collins, CO – April 9, 2015 – Senvol Presidents Annie Wang and Zach Simkin co-authored a section of the 2015 Wohlers Report. The section, titled “Cost-Benefit Analyses,” features three analyses that Senvol has conducted for General Electric, the Forging Industry Association, and Johnson Controls, Inc.
The first analysis provides an example of a part that is cost-effective for additive manufacturing; the second analysis offers a part that is not cost-effective for AM; and the third analysis presents an example where cost-effectiveness for additive manufacturing is dependent upon the quantity produced.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Wohlers Report, which is one of the most-read additive manufacturing industry reports worldwide.
