Posted By Senvol on Jul 30, 2014

New York, NY – July 30, 2014 – Senvol was selected to present the closing keynote of the 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Summit, which will take place in Pittsburgh, PA from September 16th to 18th, 2014.

The closing keynote will be focused on exploring the business implications of adopting additive manufacturing (AM).  Experiences, case studies and examples will be drawn from Senvol’s previous work to illustrate how some companies have made decisions as to whether or not they should adopt AM.  Senvol’s “7 Supply Chain Scenarios” framework will also be explored to demonstrate how a company can narrow down which parts or SKUs may be cost-effective candidates for production via AM.  Finally, the keynote will explain AM’s current cost structure and explore what would happen to the business choice to adopt AM should various elements of that cost structure change in the future.

The keynote is titled “Economic Impact of 3D Printing: Understanding Long Term Trends” and will take place at 4pm on Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
